serverless.au is prepaid and billed by the second. Current rates are on the pricing page.
How the meter works
- A pod is charged for its vCPU and memory while its container is running, at the rate in effect when it started.
- The meter runs every minute and charges to the second. When a pod stops, the last partial minute is charged.
- Pulling images is free. Stopped pods cost nothing.
- Pod disks and volumes aren't billed during the beta.
Balance rules
- To start a pod, your balance must cover at least ten minutes of it.
- Under ten minutes of runway, every
serverless.aucommand shows a warning. - At $0, running pods get five minutes of grace, then stop with reason
insufficient_funds.

- Credit goes to your current account (
--account <slug>picks another one you belong to). - Each voucher works once per account and once per person, even if you belong to several accounts.
- Your account needs its details completed first (
svl account complete). - Vouchers can have a limited number of uses or an expiry date. If one has run out, serverless.au tells you.
