Accounts & teams

You log in as a user (your email). Pods, volumes, registry credentials and credit belong to an account. Everyone gets a personal account; teams create shared ones.

Invitations

svl members add emails an invite. The person joins the next time they run svl login (or svl accounts) with that address. Invites last 14 days.

Switching accounts

svl account use <slug> sets the current account. Any command also takes --account <slug> for a one-off, and SVL_ACCOUNT=<slug> works in scripts.

Account details

Before an account can run pods we need a few details: for you — name, mobile, country and acceptance of the terms; for the account — whether it's a business (legal name, ABN, billing address) and what you'll run. svl login asks for anything missing, or run svl account complete. Accounts are approved as soon as the details are in.
